In the early years of the 21st century, Volvo was one of three major manufacturers offering low-floor double-deck buses to the British bus industry. Volvo's offering was the B7TL, which entered service in London later than its competitors, but quickly caught Dennis up in terms of vehicles on the road. Between 2000 and 2006, over 2000 Volvo B7TLs entered service, with the last vehicles leaving service in early 2021.
This book examines the use of the vehicles by each of London's bus operators. Text describes how each company utilised the vehicles and plenty of high-quality colour photographs illustrate the vehicles at work around London. Each chapter also includes a full list of vehicles delivered to the operator.
