In Edinburgh Buses and Trams since the 1990s Richard Walter has put together a collection of photographs from the late 1980s to the present day illustrating the changing transport scene in the Scottish capital.

The book begins with a chapter on the reintroduction of trams to the city in 2014, then all subsequent chapters cover Edinburgh’s bus services. Most of the buses shown are operated by the city’s principal bus company Lothian Buses, but other operators such as Eastern Scottish, McGills, East Coast Buses and Prentice of Haddington, are also included. Sightseeing and airport buses are also featured, as are services beyond the city boundaries, such as those serving Midlothian, East Lothian and West Lothian.

Well illustrated throughout, the majority of images being presented in two-per-page format and all being accompanied by captions.

189 colour photographs. 96 pages.
