Howard Berry has put together this collection of photos of the vehicles built by coach manufacturer Duple during the 1980s, its last decade of production before the company was closed down in 1989.
The models depicted in this volume were the successors to Duple’s main product of the 1970s, the Dominant. There are chapters on the Laser, Caribbean and Calypso models, the 3.2 metre high “320” and the 3.4 m high “340”, and the 425 which gets its name from its drag coefficient score of 0.425.
The vehicles are depicted in a variety of locations and liveries, including the various versions of National Express livery and those of other National Bus Group and independent operators. 96 pages.
