David Moth has compiled this collection of photos of Arriva buses from across the counties of Essex and Kent from the late 1990s to the present day.
The first few pages depict older step-entrance buses such as Metrobuses, a Bristol VR and a Volvo Olympian, some of which are in the liveries of Arriva’s predecessor operators Maidstone & District and Southend Transport. Most of the rest of the buses featured are in the various versions of Arriva corporate livery, and there are a few red buses on Arriva’s Transport for London routes that start or finish within the Greater London boundaries.
Some modern low-floor buses in heritage liveries based on those of the previous operators in the areas concerned are also included. Photographs are presented in two-per-page format, with basic captions accomapnying each image. 96 pages.
