In this book, Mike Danneman presents a collection of his colour photographs of railroads across North America during winter, when snowfall in parts of the continent is a regular occurrence.
Photographs were taken on trips to the USA and Canada between the 1980s and the present day. They feature locomotives of many of the main railroad operators whose locomotives can be seen at work in the northern USA and Canada.
Photographs are presented in two-per-page format with a caption accompanying each, providing details about the location and the train pictured. An introduction to the author's trips to North America is also included. 96 pages.
