An album of colour and black & white photographs illustrating the Italian narrow-gauge line from Trento to Male and Mezzana, known in German as the Nonstalbahn.
The line opened in 1909 and sustained significant damage during World War 2. However, the line was repaired and continues to operate today, with a further extension being planned.
This book contains a series of photographs from throughout the history of the line. A brief history of the line is also included, with each photograph being accompanied by a caption. Some of the older black & white photographs illustrated the wooden-bodied railcars used on the line up until the 1960s.
