In this book, Andy Gibbs uses colour and black & white photographs of railways around Brighton during the 1970s and 1980s.
Photographs feature many of the electric multiple unit types to have operated to Brighton during this period on commuter trains and regular services from London to the south coast. Also includes photographs of intercity and excursion trains terminating at Brighton, which were a frequent sight on summer Saturdays during this time.
A short introduction to the railways of Brighton during this period is included and each photograph is accompanied by a caption. Photographs are presented in two-per-page format. 96 pages.
