Includes an introduction to the line and to the development of Pembroke Dock as a port and Tenby and Saundersfoot as coastal resorts, as well as a look at the milk and fish trains which operated around West Wales during the 1950s and 1960s.
The main section of the book takes us on a journey along the line from Whitland to Pembroke Dock, with chapters covering each location. Each chapter includes some text describing the history of the location, along with a series of photographs. Maps and track diagrams are included for certain complex locations.
