This is the second of two detailed volumes covering the V 100 locomotives on the Deutsche Reichsbahn in the former East Germany, this volume describing their operations. It is divided into chapters covering each of the divisions (“Reichsbahndirektionen”) of the DR, and each of these is subdivided into sections covering each depot within that division.
For each depot there is a full list of locos based there, a summary of services operated by the class from that depot, and a selection of black & white photos of the locos on passenger and freight workings between the 1960s and the 1990s. There is also a colour section at the back.
